Psalm 23: 1-3 The Good Shepherd

It’s the beginning of a new year and I am writing to remind you that if last year was rough there is hope for the new year.  You have a shepherd who loves you and wants to take care of you.  He just needs for you to be still and know that He is God.  He has everything under control and just like a shepherd leads his sheep, God wants to lead you in the right direction.

For so long I thought God was punishing us or trying to teach us a lesson when we were at our lowest point financially.  It took me years to realize that we created that mess.  We dug that trench and God was forcing us to dig our way out of it so that we would never want to dig another trench ever again.

That trench was filled with $53,000 worth of debt and we don’t care to go back to that lifestyle.  And God doesn’t hate us.  He was trying to prevent us from making these stupid mistakes, but we refused to be still and just listen.  I created this video to show you what a Great Shepherd He really is and how much He loves you.  He can meet you where you are and it’s never to late to turn back to Him and His Word.  I hope you enjoy the video!  ~ Whitney

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
